Homebrew Wednesday 30: 7 Blessings Rye Saison Brew Day

Happy Homebrew Wednesday to all!!! Though my 30th HBW video may not be consider a milestone to most, I’m happy that it includes footage of what we all do best i.e. brew beer! As the title states that footage is of me brewing an all grain rye saison aka 7 Blessings Rye Saison. So grab yourself a beer and enjoy the show ;)! Cheers!

“Actual Numbers”: 

Mash Time: 75 minutes at 148 (lost less than a degree) / Mash Out: 15-20 minutes

Pre-boil Gravity: 1.059 -> 91.2% mash efficiency Preboil Volume: 7.75 gallons

Post-boil: OG: 1.069 Volume: closer to 5.6 gallons w/ 1.4L (close to 1.5L) starter pitched.

Fermentation Temperature Schedule: Will post after primary fermentation is done.

Next Step…The US finals or the Top 12 in the US where I’ll be judging the top 3 beers from the other 3 US regions of the challenge.
